Artspace has been invited to join James River Association’s Annual Meeting and Celebration of the Clean Water Act's 50th Anniversary on Monday, October 17. JRA has exclusive use of the entire Hardywood “Westcreek campus” for the day. Artspace will provide a themed exhibition for the evening. Visual imagery includes Stories on the James and a preview of our biennial members' exhibition, "Watershed." Artwork will be on view at Hardywood for one day only!

JRA is excited to return to their friends at Hardywood this year for a complete take-over of their West Creek property for their Annual Meeting on October 17th!

Join JRA as they celebrate the Clean Water Act’s 50th Anniversary and feature stories from across the watershed to highlight our Stories by the James project.

Enjoy Live musical performances by Høly River and Elizabeth Wise and as a special feature, we will be joined by our friends at The Good Road who will be sharing a sneak preview of their upcoming episode focusing on Richmond.

Hardywood will be selling their usual array of delicious beverages, and we'll also have several food trucks onsite with a variety of cuisines available to purchase (including oysters)!

The entire river community is invited to attend their annual meeting. To encourage all of our James Changers to gather with, there is no fee for entry. A requested donation of $50 in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Clean Water Act is encouraged.

There are also several options to upgrade your experience and give even more back to the river you love, including reserving a table, a gazebo, or space in our celebration tent.

Many thanks to the event partners, Høly River, Elizabeth Wise, The Good Road, Headwaters Down Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, Spherient Advisors, Artspace Richmond and River Run Law Group for making this event possible!
