Membership Opportunities:
Artspace is operated by its members. All artist members pay dues to support the gallery financially. Active artists members staff the gallery and work on committees to help achieve Artspace’s goals. Artist and community members alike are eligible to take on leadership roles including officers and governing board positions.

Membership levels include:
- Artist Member (Active)
- Supporting Artist Member
- Performing Artist Member
- Community Member
- On-leave Artist Member (must be a member for one year to be eligible)
- NEW: Associate Artist Member - Artists and emerging artists (18 or over) who are interested in assisting in the administration and operation of Artspace but who may not wish to apply as Artist Members.

There are many opportunities for artists to become active in our vibrant arts community. In addition to members’ privileges, non-members may also apply for exhibitions and submit artwork to juried shows. There are also a variety of volunteer opportunities at Artspace including event staffing, helping with installations and take down of exhibitions, and assisting our committees. EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITIES FOR
ACTIVE ARTIST & SUPPORTING ARTIST MEMBERS

Main Gallery: Apply every 18 months. Artspace commission: 25% (Non-members may apply every 48 months. Artspace commission: 45%)

Spotlight Gallery: Members are eligible once a year, first-come, first-served. The opportunity is for 3-4 members to exhibit. SignUp links on the Members Portal.

Members Gallery: Members Group Show most months. Artspace commission: 25%

Satellite Venues: For members only. Regular exhibits at Boyd Realty and other opportunities when they arise. Artspace commission: 10%. SignUp links on the Members Portal.

“Think Small” is a biennial invitational fundraiser. Open to all artists. Artspace commission: 50% minimum

Members Biennial: Open to all members. Artspace commission: 25%

Annual Fundraising Event: Members are eligible to participate. Artspace commission determined by event

PERFORMING ARTIST MEMBERS
Opportunity to perform and rehearse at Artspace (subject to scheduling approval by gallery administration)
