Slam Richmond

IIt's about that time. Time for...a Slam.

Bringing you one of the longest running open mics in Richmond, Slam Richmond is once again raising up a Slam team!

Competitors are entering for a chance to participate in one of the largest spoken word competitions in the country, Southern Fried Poetry Festival. It's a collective of artists, engaging in their artistry and competitive spirit.

Since it's going to be a packed night, we'll be starting promptly at 8:30PM with our open mic, all types of performers are welcome! Our workshop will also be at the usual time, 5:30PM.

Entry to the show and the competition are free. And if yall are feeling costumes, get spooky! I know I will! And you know...the Slam might be a little spooky too...
