Slam Richmond Live and In-Person

We are back in action yall but we ain't gonna try and crash your party. Instead, we are bringing you fresh poetry and other performances on July 8th. So Save that date.

This month we know can be a difficult time for those whose freedoms are currently under attack. We, as a venue, stand with queer, trans, black and poc lives. We believe that everyone has a voice that deserves to be heard but no venue should have the power to silence all others.

Our workshop begins at 5:30PM, where we will work on not only writing but at times performance. The open mic will begin at 8:30PM. This event is completely free and open to the public. Here at Slam Richmond we believe that there always needs to be a space where our voices can be heard.

Raise your voice, we will listen.
