Artist Statement
This body of work is made with mixed media of acrylics, acrylic mediums, oil sticks, and graphite. The work aims to capture the beauty of the landscapes surrounding my home and travels. I draw inspiration from the animals that share our land and the peaceful scenes I encounter daily. The seasonal colors and places that resonate with me deeply influence my work, compelling me to create canvases that embody their essence.

My technique involves multiple layers, lines, and various mark-making processes that are all integral marks to make the whole piece. One mark, line, and/or a color change can lead the painting into another direction. The results are paintings that are unique, and filled with nature's vibrant energies and tranquility. My art serves as a testament to the simple yet profound beauty of everyday life.
