For me, it has been a rough couple of years. Getting away from politics, pandemics, and general anger, I strive to make a little bit of brightness in the world. My alternate world is here for your pleasure.  

Learning how to use a bandsaw, I began doing this work cutting large  fish and birds, and hanging them in the window. This process evolved into making full smaller scale stabile pieces with intricate cuts and detailed painting.

With glue, paint, glitter (who does not like glitter!), paper, and wood I created an array of stylized birds, insects, and fish. These whimsical, quirky, bright colored creations are meant to provide visual smiles to the viewer.
