Artspace continues its Satellite exhibition series at Boyd Realty Group, our new neighbor in the Stratford Hills Shopping, with a presentation of artwork by Artspace artist member Susan Moncure. An opening reception will coincide with Artspace's May-June exhibitions from 6-9 p.m.

Artist Statement

What is my artist statement? Each time I ponder this, I find a different answer. My latest response--I see and experience nature in a unique realm of my own understanding. Each of us has their own perception of being in nature. My paintings exist first in the sensorial realm--I view nature, then feel inspiration to capture a scene/feeling in a photo. Memory of the  image in the photo informs my heart how to express on canvas. It's not paint by number... I paint by intuition. Being joy, that's my expression.
