About Artspace

Artspace to relocate in 2021

Artspace announces the relocation of the gallery in 2021. Artspace is a non-profit gallery for the visual and performing arts that promotes the understanding and awareness of contemporary art. Now celebrating its 32nd anniversary, Artspace is operated by its artist and community members who volunteer their time. Gallery members enthusiastically anticipate this change in our venue which will allow us to continue our exhibitions of work by exceptional and unique artists of the highest caliber from local, regional and national artists selected by our artist members. Artspace looks forward to the opportunities we will develop through our engagement with a new community while providing easier access to our space for the current patrons of the gallery.

Following the December 13, 2020 close of our current exhibition, the Members’ Biennial, Artspace will be moving out of its space at the Plant Zero Art Center. The gallery has secured a temporary office at The Collaboratory of Virginia, located at 2101 Maywill St., Richmond, VA 23230 as we finalize our search for a permanent address. The Collaboratory of Virginia (CVA) supports area non-profits as part of its mission. The gallery is excited to be joining this innovative and energizing community of non-profits and looks forward to continued collaborations after we are settled in our new permanent space.
