Miguel Carter-Fisher is a Richmond, Virginia-based narrative painter who emphasizes the human figure as his primary subject. He received his BFA from the University of Hartford, where he studied both painting and philosophy, and his MFA from the New York Academy of Art, where he studied traditional drawing, painting, and composition techniques. Miguel Carter-Fisher’s work has been exhibited at various galleries in New York, Virginia, and abroad.
