The game of my encaustic work plays seductive surfaces and color fields against collage and representational imagery. Collaged elements are the reserve of personal narratives and a form of storytelling. Their use relegates each painting with an iconic power; embracing people, places and events plucked from nebulous memory, and makes them wholly mine.
