Parking

Street parking is available as well as a fenced and lighted Pay Lot which faces the E. 4th St. entrance and can be accessed from Hull St. or Decatur. The Pay Lot is FREE on Fourth Fridays thanks to the generousity of our neighbors at Art Works Richmond. The lot at the corner of East 3rd and Decatur is a Private Lot. Do not park there or you will be towed.

About artspace

Location

artspace is located in the Manchester area of Richmond, Virginia, in the Plant Zero Art Center. Plant Zero is 3 blocks south of the James River at the 14th Street Bridge and is bounded by East 3rd St., Hull St., East 4th St., and Decatur St.

On the north side of the river, 14th Street divides two popular tourist and entertainment areas of Richmond, Shockoe Slip and Shockoe Bottom. The Canal Walk, a heron rookery and boat launch are all located on the 14th Street Bridge, also known as the Mayo Bridge.

artspace can be accessed from within Plant Zero as well as from a separate entrance physically located at 31 East 3rd St. The 3rd Street door is used for loading/unloading artwork and is only open to the public during Openings and Performances.

Zero E. 4th Street Entrance

If entering Plant Zero from the E. 4th Street door, follow main hallway to the end, turn right and follow ramp to bottom, then turn left. artspace is ahead on the right.

31 E. 3rd Street Entrance

Enter from E. 3rd Street directly into the gallery during Openings and Performances or for loading/unloading artwork.
